Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Minister of Labour, assigned Dr. Suteph Chitaywong, Secretary to the Minister of Labour, to preside over the opening ceremony of the Safety and Occupational Health Academic Seminar in the Eastern Region, held at the Nikko Amata City Hotel, Chonburi. The seminar was attended by Mr. Wibul Kromdidth, Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer of Amata Corporation Public Company Limited, who welcomed the participants.

Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate, together with entrepreneurs within the industrial estate, practiced an annual emergency response plan (Chemical spillage, gas leakage, and fire), at Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. , Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate.

“AMATA Best Waste Management Awards” is a continuously annual event since 2014 until present with the aim to promote and support the factory to improve the efficiency of non-hazardous industrial waste management, solid waste, and sewage within the factory by applying the 3Rs (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle principle)
