Amata Best Waste Management Awards

The Company takes into account the participation of factories in industrial estates in helping to reduce negative impacts on society and environment. The Company is therefore determined to promote knowledge and understanding of factories in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate and Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate about solid waste and industrial waste management in accordance with the law.

The company has organized the project “AMATA Best Waste Management Awards” is a continuously annual event since 2014 until present with the aim to promote and support the factory to improve the efficiency of non-hazardous industrial waste management, solid waste and sewage within the factory. by applying the 3Rs (Reduce-Reuse-Recycle principle). As a result, the factory can reduce the cost of the product with the goal is for customers to have an efficient management of industrial waste and solid waste from the source within the factory before sending  to the waste sorting plant and to increase the ratio of waste that can be used to produce waste fuel (RDF) and recycled waste.

In 2020, there were a total of 76 factories applying to join the project, with factories in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate and Amata City Rayong Industrial Estate having reduced interest from 84 companies in 2019, possibly due to the epidemic situation of the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) which requires a document-based assessment method and not able to assess and give advice on the actual site causing the need to show quite a lot of documentary evidence However, the company Still aiming to encourage factories in both industrial estates to realize the importance of industrial waste management. and want to increase the efficiency of waste management of the factory Including continually participating in reducing the impact on the environment and society.
