The Process Safety Management Standard aims to encourage enterprises and relevant stakeholders to implement safety measures and raise employees awareness of major industrial accidents. A systematic and efficient safety management approach ensures the security and reliability of production activities. Preventive measures are implemented to avoid incidents, along with mitigation strategies to reduce potential impacts, ultimately decreasing workplace accidents. The Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organization) (T-OSH) has developed standards and safety management guidelines to support and promote enterprises in adopting systematic safety measures. This initiative helps businesses enhance workplace safety and build confidence in their production processes. We invite enterprises committed to workplace safety to participate in the T-OSH Process Safety Management (T-OSH PSM) certification program. On March 14, 2025, Amata City Chonburi, in collaboration with government and private sector partners, conducted its Annual Emergency Response Drill covering chemical spills, gas leaks, and fire incidents. This initiative aims to strengthen emergency preparedness, minimize industrial risks, and ensure safety for businesses and surrounding communities. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Weerapong Duangpiboon, Director of the Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate (IEAT), along with representatives from Amata Facility Services Co., Ltd., Siam Denso Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Siam Kyosan Denso Co., Ltd., and the Ban Kao Sub-district Administrative Organization. The drill took place at Siam Denso Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and focused on incident response coordination, communication, and rescue operations to ensure a swift and effective emergency response.This annual exercise reinforces Amata City Chonburis commitment to industrial safety by continuously improving risk management strategies and emergency protocols. By fostering collaboration between government agencies, private enterprises, and local authorities, the initiative helps enhance workplace safety and public confidence in the estates safety measures. Amata City Chonburi remains dedicated to sustainable industrial development, ensuring that business growth aligns with the highest safety standards and the well-being of surrounding communities.
